Attached is a photo of a contrail I took on March 20 around five p.m. I work at the airport in Salt Lake City and happened to notice this contrail over the mountains that flank the western side of the valley. I have seen quite a few interesting trails but this one ranks high on my list.
Military jets (F-15's) from Hill AFB will leave these contrals while practicing Basic Fighter Maneuvers (BFM).
