Ghost Photo of Wendy

This is very weird. A friend at work recently got a digital camera from her boss for Christmas (nice boss,eh?). She really likes it and uses it often. She used it to take some pictures of a New Year's Eve party she and her husband hosted this year. I was at her desk the other day chit-chatting and she asked me to take a look at a few pictures to see if I could tell 'what was wrong' with them.

She showed me the two attached photos, which I have renamed "ONE" and "TWO". In photo "ONE", one of her friends was not looking at the camera or smiling, so my friend said "Hey.. smile now and let me take another shot". Therefore, the two pictures were taken within SECONDS of one another. Look at the first picture and the 'ghostly' image on it and then the second image which is completely clean. Nobody in the house was smoking, either so that rules out tobacco smoke. Anyway, it couldn't have dissipated this quickly. I looked at the pictures and jokingly told my friend it looked like she has a ghost.

Well... you wouldn't believe the stories she told me for the next 5 minutes. It turns out they DO think their house is haunted! Always has been, since the day she and her husband moved in!! They call the ghost "Wendy" because that's the name of the original owner and the ghost is supposed to be her. My friend told me how one day all the spoons in her kitchen disappeared only to reappear several days later! And how once all her socks disappeared, again to show up several days later !! Recently her upstairs bedroom door slammed about ten times and she said, "Hey knock it off" thinking it was her hubby. She was surprised to hear his voice from way downstairs in the living room asking "Knock what off?"
